Beauty basics. What works for me and my opinion.
Eyes
-Waterline- the inner rim of your bottom lid.
-Tight line- the inner rim of your top lid.
-Even clear mascara makes a difference to the appearance of your lashes.
Cheeks
-Don't just put blush on the apples of your cheeks. It looks nice straight on, but once you go to the side, it looks like you just have some circles of color on your face. Use it as a start point and blend out and up towards the area between your temple and the top of your ear and faded out.
-Contour the cheekbone from the hollow area when you suck your cheeks in and make a fish face. That is the area on the side of your face from the hight of the cupid's bow to the tragus of your ear. ( the tragus is the small cartilage in the middle of your ear that covers the opening to your ear canal.)
Lips
-The Cupid's bow is the middle of your upper lip that is shaped like an M.
-Putting gloss on the centre of your lower lip makes it appear fuller.
-having a little shimmer or light colored powder on the lip line above the Cupid's bow brings more light to the area and gives the appearance of a more pronounced curve.
Face
-Don't stop your foundation at the jaw line. Even if the color is a perfect match to your skin tone, blend it into your neck. Even an inch or so makes a difference.
-If you have oily or combination skin, just apply some powder to your T zone. That will help with the oiliness but keep the youthful dewyness of your cheeks.
-When placing concealer, dab onto the problem area. Blend with gentle patting around the edges, don't rub over the area. All that does is remove the product from where you want it and ends with you applying more than originally necessary.
